Eren is introduced to Levi’s elite squad, including Petra, Eld, Gunther, and Oluo.

The Survey Corps prepare for a new expedition beyond the walls.

Episodes 16–20: The 57th Expedition & Female Titan Arc Begins

Episode 16: "What Needs to be Done Now: Eve of the Counterattack, Part 3"

The new recruits choose which military branch to join.

They undergo final training and join the upcoming mission.

The formation is disrupted by the Female Titan.

Eren battles the Female Titan but is defeated and captured.

Mikasa and Levi chase her down with intense determination.

Levi rescues Eren with expert skill, injuring the Female Titan.

Episode 23: "Smile: Assault on Stohess, Part 1"

Back inside the walls, Commander Erwin plans to capture the Female Titan.

Suspicion falls on someone within the military—Annie Leonhart.

Armin tricks Annie into revealing herself.

Episode 24: "Mercy: Assault on Stohess, Part 2"

Annie refuses to surrender and transforms into the Female Titan inside Stohess District.

A brutal battle begins between Eren and Annie in the city.

Episode 25: "Wall: Assault on Stohess, Part 3"

Eren finally goes berserk and overpowers Annie.

She crystallizes herself to avoid being interrogated.

The battle causes massive destruction.

In the final shocking scene, a Titan is discovered inside the wall, raising huge questions.
